CIPP UV construction for urban pipeline repair via trenchless renovation

 

UV curing repair material selection:

The structure of all imported glass fiber + resin used for UV curing is divided from outside to inside: UV protective film, outer film, glass fiber fabric, and inner film (dragged out after curing).

UV curing repair method:

The structure of all imported glass fiber + resin used for UV curing is divided from outside to inside: UV protective film, outer film, glass fiber fabric, and inner film (dragged out after curing).

(1) Pipe pretreatment

The sewer before repair shall be blocked, pumped, and dredged, and a CCTV inspection shall be carried out before repair. Local cutting, plastering, grouting, and other auxiliary measures shall be added for serious defects.

(2) Pull in the bottom film and pull in the lining hose

The bottom film can reduce the drag resistance of the lining material, and also reduce the damage to the lining caused by the occasional protrusions on the inner wall of the original pipeline.

(3) Fixed tie

Fixing the binding head is a part of all UV curing processes that require high operator experience and proficiency. The binding head shall be firmly fixed to withstand the air pressure blown into the pipe by the fan during the curing process. Firstly, it is convenient for the installation of the lamp holder in the next step, and secondly, it ensures that the inner lining pipe is close to the original pipe wall.

(4) Feed-in lamp holder

According to different pipe diameters, the UV lamp holder is divided into four models: small, medium, large and extra-large. The repaired pipe diameter can cover all sizes of dn150-dn1600. Turn on the fan and air compressor to supply air into the pipe. After the inner lining pipe is inflated, quickly send the lamp holder into the pipe. Pay attention not to scratch the inner lining membrane.

(5) UV curing

After the lamp holder is jointed at the end, turn on the UV lamp to irradiate the inner lining pipe and start curing. Reasonably control the travel speed of the lamp holder to ensure that the curing process is completed at one time. The whole curing process is monitored, and automatically recorded, and the curing speed and pipe wall temperature are automatically recorded.

(6) Closeout

After curing, cut off the excess materials at the pipe end, remove the airbag and restore the water supply.
